Betty's
Fishing Tip:
I like to slowly swim a big 11" V&M Hog Wild worm through the
sporadic grass that's usually found in front of the heavy mats. I use a 1/8 oz.
screw in weight and 12 lb. test Izorline fluorocarbon. I retrieve the worm very
slowly with my rod tip down, when the worm hangs in the grass, just keep the
same slow tension by turning my reel handle and it will pop free. I don't like
to jerk the worm out of the grass. The strike usually occurs when in gently
pulls free from the grass. Since my rod tip is down, I sweep the rod to set the
hook.
